Levy Hangs His Hat
I was just chatting with Ezra Klein and noted that, nowadays, the best lack all conviction while the worst are full of passionate intensity. The impulse to duck and cover as events in the world look increasingly dire, and the presidential campaign increasingly ugly and intense is, I think, as understandable as it is unfortunate. Professor Levy's case against Bush remains, however, a must-read.
