What's Wrong With Kerry?

Plenty, actually, but going back over the poll numbers last night it seemed to me that maybe the answer was "nothing" and the campaign's not doing nearly as badly as the tone of recent reporting would suggest. Anyways, I'm going to try and avoid the temptation to second-guess the campaign in public until it's done with. Once the voting's happened you can see what the strategies really were, who really won, what really worked, etc. In the heat of the moment the temptation is to just say "Kerry needs to come out strongly in favor of X" when X just happens to be something you favor, or "Kerry neeeds to say Y" when Y is something you like to say.
