Hey Matt,
Do you think you can get Harry Shearer to guestblog for you whenever you get married? I would even accept Chrisopher Guest.

If that nebbish can con some girl into marrying him, there is hope for you Matthew.

I suggest caution. In the long run, weddings don't always work out. (Funerals are much more stable.)

In the long run, we are all dead. Carpe diem, Mr & Mrs Marshall.
I may have just repeated Emerson's sentiment exactly, without his irony. Or maybe that was al.

(Gee, I held off on the email, lest we pump up the box even more.)
May the road to hell be paved with grass, may your troubles be less, and your blessings be more
and nothing but happiness come through your door.

I've never died. I'll believe my death when I see it.

Is 'impending' right kind of adjective for 'wedding'?
From websters:
impend: 1. To hover threateningly 2. To be about to happen.
I would have said 'upcoming wedding', or even "saturday's wedding" to be more specific.

"Imminent wedding". Ask Ari Fleischer.
