Best. Show. Ever.

Sleater-Kinney at the 9:30 tonight, that is. Or at least it would have been awesome had the show not been canceled by order of the Fire Marshall due to the transformers outside the club catching fire. Allegedly it shall be rescheduled.

So, did you actually see a show, or did you just attempt to see a show that was cancelled? Given the awesomeness of Sleater-Kinney, I can see applying the "Best" designation to a show of theirs that didn't end up happening. Cause a Sleater-Kinney show that doesn't actually happen may be better than lots of shows that do.

Dude that sucks.

For a second though, I thought you meant tonight's show, in NYC, which I have tickets to.

Wow. I'm glad I wasn't feeling well and didn't go. I was feeling lame about it this morning until I read this post.

The show went on just fine. S-K was awesome. I keep trying to get Matthew to stop wearing earplugs during concerts.

Sure, he gets to save his long-term hearing a bit, but he imagines these faux-cancellations over and over again, saying, "I can't hear the band. I guess they must have cancelled."

Transformers. Sheeesh. Everyone knows the electrical grid is without problems.
